Description

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing both standardized tools and observational methods.
• Create tailored treatment plans focused on achieving both immediate and progressive communication or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver one-on-one therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing language ability, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical and occupational therapists, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, to ensure a unified approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their families to further support rehabilitation efforts outside the clinical environment.
• Contribute to inpatient evaluations and interventions as needed, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation that meets all regulatory standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying abreast of industry advancements and best practices.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
