Express Employment Professionals seeks a reliable, accurate, and experienced Contract Financial Coordinator to assist with our basic bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping needs.

This position may be a GREAT fit for an experienced bookkeeper looking for flexible, supplemental work.

Compensation: $29.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Prepare and Enter Journal Entries & Accounting System
• Cash Reconciliation
• General Ledger Reconciliations
• Grant Program Income Tracking
• Grant Program Expenditure Tracking
• Manage Mortgages (Deed Cancellations, Payments & Record JEs)
• Prepare Grant Voucher Reimbursements
• Assist with Financial Audit Support
• Various Ad Hoc Financial Analysis and Reports
• Support daily finance and administrative operations
• Maintain financial and grant records
• Process and track purchase orders
• Assist with pay requests and reimbursement documentation
• Update financial trackers, reports, and spreadsheets
• Help prepare documents for audits and compliance reviews
• Follow-up on missing paperwork and deadlines
• Communicate with staff, vendors, auditors, and other partners

Education

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field preferred
• Relevant experience may be substituted for education

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience in finance, accounting, grants, or administrative support preferred
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience with grants, government finance, or financial systems is a plus
• Pass a background and drug screening
