Store Operations Associate

CubeSmart Self‑Storage Store Operations Associate As a Store Operations Associate you will manage and maintain stores within your district, combining customer service and property maintenance responsibilities. Responsibilities Develop customer relationships by identifying self‑storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience. Interact face‑to‑face with customers, providing excellent service and building rapport. Meet monthly sales goals and metrics. Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers. Work independently and on a team to rent self‑storage units, sell store merchandise, manage the leasing process, accept payments using the Point‑of‑Sale System (POS), complete daily bank deposits, and make courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments. Perform daily property walks, clean units and store grounds, open and close storage doors (up to 50 lbs), mop and sweep floors, change light bulbs, and maintain clean restrooms, landscaping, parking areas, and office space. Qualifications A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people. Experience delivering high‑quality customer service to a diverse customer market. A self‑driven mindset with strong operational focus. Basic computer skills, including MS Office products. Ability to work Saturdays and, in some locations, potential Sunday hours. Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up‑to‑date insurance. Physical ability to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb, or balance on a ladder frequently. Authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship. Compensation The hourly rate for this role is $19.00–$21.00, based on experience.
