We’re looking for a driven Environmental Compliance Engineer who is ready to take ownership of our environmental programs and help us maintain the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Lead and manage all environmental compliance programs, including air, water, waste, and chemical management. Maintain and update environmental permits, records, and reporting requirements (EPA, state, and local). Conduct internal audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance and identify improvement opportunities. Partner with operations, maintenance, and safety teams to drive environmental best practices across the facility. Oversee hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal in accordance with regulatory requirements. Support sustainability initiatives and recommend process improvements that reduce environmental impact. Serve as the subject matter expert during regulatory inspections and external audits. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred. Strong understanding of EPA, RCRA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and related regulations. Ability to interpret regulations and translate them into practical, actionable programs.Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.
