Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MedSurg nursing and possess the required certifications to provide high-quality patient care.

Position Overview

Department: Medical Surgical
Number of Openings: 1
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
Weekend Requirements: 24 hours
Patient Ratios: 1:6
Number of Beds: 44
Call Requirements: As needed, with prompt arrival at the facility.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care, assess and document patients' conditions.
Assist in the implementation of care plans for patients of all ages.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes in patient status.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Required Certifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state, BLS certification.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of MedSurg nursing experience.
Knowledge: Proficient in Meditech electronic health records.
Education: Must hold a valid RN licensure and relevant certifications.
Personality Fit: Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Any color, professional attire required.
Unacceptable Attire: Casual wear, hoodies, or similar clothing.
