Purchasing Assistant / BuyerLocation: Collinsville, OKSchedule: Day Shift, Monday–FridayPay: $25–$30/hour, depending on experienceWe are seeking a Purchasing Assistant / Buyer for a growing company in the Collinsville area. This position will support purchasing and procurement activities to help ensure materials, supplies, and components are ordered accurately, received on time, and available to meet operational needs.Responsibilities:Assist with purchasing materials, parts, supplies, and other items needed for daily operationsCreate, process, and track purchase ordersCommunicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery schedulesObtain and compare vendor quotes to help identify competitive pricing and termsFollow up on open orders and help resolve shortages, delays, or discrepanciesMaintain accurate purchasing and vendor recordsCoordinate with production, inventory, warehouse, and other departments regarding material needsMonitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment as neededAssist with sourcing new vendors and maintaining relationships with existing suppliersVerify order information, pricing, quantities, and delivery datesSupport additional purchasing and administrative functions as neededQualifications:Previous purchasing, procurement, buying, inventory, or supply chain experience preferredExperience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plusStrong organizational skills and attention to detailComfortable communicating and negotiating with vendorsProficiency with Microsoft Office, including ExcelExperience with ERP/MRP or purchasing software is preferredAbility to manage multiple orders, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentInterested candidates can apply today with a detailed and updated resume.
