Job Summary University Mechanical & Engineering Contractors, Inc. is currently seeking an individual for a full-time position as a Mechanical Senior Project Manager located in the Anaheim, CA area. #umecca #LI-LG2 #LI-Onsite Essential Duties & Responsibilities Note: This position is not intended to be a detailed or comprehensive description of any individual employee’s job content. Managers set specific duties and responsibilities for each employee. Duties include safety of field personnel, preconstruction, design–assist, field labor productivity, quality assurance and coordination, project financial outcomes, projections and reporting, material and equipment procurement, change order management, owner/client relations, project cash flow, and personnel management. Managers are responsible for directing and overseeing the work activities of their direct reports and must comply with all company operating policies and procedures. Preferred Education and/or Experience Proven project management skills with a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a project manager with full mechanical contracting or related construction firms. Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial related projects. Minimum 5 years of preconstruction/design‑assist experience. Proven experience managing healthcare, data center, lab, higher education and semiconductor projects with contract values of $15M‑200M. Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Chemical Engineering preferred. Experience working with job sites in healthcare is preferred. Computer Skills Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, Viewpoint. Required Attributes Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced multi‑task environment. Ability to perform business mathematical functions. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Effective time and detail management. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule forms. Compliance with all operating policies, procedures, and plans. Effective communication, cooperation, and collaboration with multiple levels of employees, vendors, and suppliers.
