CNC Machinist/Programmer

Pay Rate: $30/hr. - $35/hr.

Shift: 1st

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our growing team. This role is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts while meeting production goals and maintaining strict quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and experienced in troubleshooting and optimizing machine performance.

This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and optimize CNC machine programs using G & M code
• Perform machine setups independently
• Operate CNC equipment safely and efficiently
• Calculate speeds, feeds, and tooling requirements to meet or exceed production standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure part accuracy and quality
• Inspect finished products to verify specifications are met
• Troubleshoot machining and setup issues as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and production processes
• Perform routine machine maintenance and upkeep

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training preferred
• 3-5 years of CNC machining experience required
• Experience with CNC setup and operation
• Extrusion experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of G & M code programming
• Ability to use precision measurement tools accurately
• Strong math and analytical skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• High attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to follow detailed instructions with accuracy
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required
