IT Release Manager

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and services industry, is seeking a dedicated IT Release Manager to join their dynamic team. As an IT Release Manager, you will be an integral part of the IT Service Management department, supporting Release Management, Change Management, and operational governance processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will enable you to thrive within a collaborative and innovative environment.

Location: REMOTE - EST candidates or candidates close to NJ/NY highly preferred.

Pay Range: $46 - 50/hr

What's the Job?

• Support and contribute to IT Service Management processes including Release, Change, and Configuration Management.
• Coordinate release planning sessions, implementation readiness reviews, and operational governance meetings.
• Partner with business units, project teams, infrastructure teams, application support teams, and vendors to ensure successful release and deployment activities.
• Review and validate release and change requests for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with policies and standards.
• Monitor release activities, assess risks, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational stability and deployment efficiency.

What's Needed?

• 1-3 years of experience in Release Management or related IT support roles.
• Foundational knowledge of ITIL principles and IT Service Management (ITSM) practices.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or comparable ITSM platforms is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning enterprise IT processes.
