ABA Behavior Technician

Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) – Home & Community (Part‑Time) Part‑Time | Flexible Weekday Availability | Tustin, CA – $21.00–$26.00 per hour. Role Overview As a Part‑Time Home & Community Behavior Technician, you will deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children in natural environments under BCBA supervision. You will support skill development and behavior goals while maintaining a schedule that fits your lifestyle. This role is ideal for individuals balancing school, caregiving responsibilities, or other professional commitments. What You’ll Do Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions under BCBA supervision. Implement treatment plans in home and community settings. Use play‑based and individualized strategies to engage children. Collect accurate session data and progress notes. Communicate with families and clinical supervisors. Apply feedback and coaching to strengthen clinical skills. How Success Is Measured Reliable attendance within your committed availability. Training & Clinical Support Paid onboarding and hands‑on training. Ongoing supervision from experienced BCBAs. Paid RBT certification (training, exam, and supervision included if applicable). Regular coaching and feedback to build confidence and skills. Pay Range Hourly Rate: $21.00 – $26.00 per hour (based on education and experience). Factors that may increase starting pay: prior ABA or behavioral health experience, higher education or relevant coursework, fluency in additional languages, advanced certifications or specialized training. Qualifications & Essential Job Functions Minimum age of 18. High School diploma or GED required. Ability to actively engage in child‑centered play and therapeutic activities. Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, squat, and transition between activities and locations. Ability to respond appropriately to challenging behaviors, including aggression or elopement. Reliable transportation and ability to travel consistently within assigned service region. Valid driver’s license and punctual attendance. No prior ABA experience required – we train you. Experience that transfers well: college coursework in psychology, education, social work, or related fields; childcare or education roles (nanny, tutor, paraprofessional); mental health or human services experience; camp counselor, volunteer, or youth program experience. Part‑time home and community Behavior Technician positions are designed for individuals who want to contribute meaningful work while maintaining balance with other priorities. Sessions are provided in school, home, and community settings only, with caseloads assigned within a defined local region and consistent schedules once cases are assigned.
