ARDMS - Sonographer / Ultrasound Technician

ARDMS General Sonographer - Full Time

MLR is looking for a dedicated and experienced General Ultrasound Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and exceptional patient care.

Schedules Available:

• Days 7:45a - 4pm (Sat - Wed)
• Days 8:30a - 4:45p (Mon - Fri)
• Nights 11:45p - 8a (Mon - Fri)
• Fri & Sat overnight call required for all positions.

Key Responsibilities for a General Sonographer:

• Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and vascular studies.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment.
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.

Qualifications for a General Sonographer:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) Abdominal [RDMS (AB)] certification is required within one year of hire.
• Preferably 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician (not mandatory).
• Proficiency in various ultrasound techniques and equipment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
