Overview Location: Running Springs, CA, US Reports To: Housekeeping & Offsite Property Manager Pali Mountain is seeking housekeeping staff to help maintain our site. We operate as a summer camp, outdoor education facility, and retreat center. Housekeepers play an integral part in keeping Pali clean and presentable for our guests. Responsibilities Cleaning cabins, offices, meeting spaces, and restrooms. Cleaning includes vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, scrubbing toilets and showers, and emptying trash. Housekeepers are expected to be efficient in cleaning and following a cleaning schedule. Respond to cleaning issues as assigned due to the diverse number of groups we accommodate. Report to a supervisor who manages the weekly schedule. Typical work week is 8:00 to 4:30 pm. Part-time staff only. Lunch is provided when guests are present on-site. Weekend work should be anticipated; holidays and evenings are possible. Two fifteen-minute breaks (morning and afternoon) and a 30-minute lunch. Staff lunch is provided when guests are on-site at 11:30 am. There may be opportunities for advancement if hired as a member of the housekeeping team. The OE/Conference season runs September through May. Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays are heavily scheduled with lighter attendance on other days. The Summer Camp season runs June to approximately the end of August, with Saturdays heavily scheduled and lighter attendance on other days. Housekeeping is scheduled on both weekend days year-round. Days and hours may vary; schedules may include daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
