Oncology - Medical Oncology Physician

We are seeking aHematology Oncology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Pendleton, OR.This position focuses exclusively on outpatient care, including hospital-basedoutpatient oncology services and chemotherapy program oversight. The physician willmanage a patient volume of approximately 15-18 patients per day and performbone marrow biopsies. There are no inpatient responsibilities or patientadmissions. Responsibilities Provide outpatient hematology and oncology consultations, evaluations, and ongoing patient management. Direct and oversee the hospital-based outpatient chemotherapy program. Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for patients with hematologic disorders and malignancies. Perform bone marrow biopsies. Monitor treatment response, manage side effects, and adjust therapies as appropriate. Coordinate care with nursing staff, oncology support teams, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in eClinicalWorks and Meditech.

Requirements Board-Certified in Hematology and Board-Certified in Medical Oncology, or Board-Eligible in Medical Oncology Board-Eligible candidates must have completed residency within the past 0-5 years Active Oregon medical license required Current BLS certification required Completion of the appropriate residency and fellowship training
