Production Operator

As a key member of the Sensient team, you will be working on rotation shifts: 1 week on day shift (44 hrs Monday-Thursday) followed by 1 week on night shift (36 hrs Monday- Wednesday). What you’ll do: Assist in the manufacture and processing of Arianor Dyes, Intermediates, Cosmetic Products, Lakes and Azo Dyes Operate processing plants, which may include the following: presses, reaction vessels, ovens, guedo’s, program setting, moisture checking, de-traying, kibblers, mills and blenders Operate mechanical handling devices Assist in the movement of materials Clean the working areas and equipment What you’ll bring: Minimum GCSE’s Maths, English, General literacy and numeracy Previous work experience in a chemical or chemical processing environment is desirable You demonstrate professionalism with a can-do attitude You have very good communication skills Exceptional time management, mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills help you to be successful in this role What you’ll get: Opportunity to collaborate with your colleagues onsite, 5 days per week An excellent salary and benefits A thorough and effective training experience during onboarding and beyond About the Team: Sensient Personal Care and Specialty Market (PCSM) develops, produces and markets ingredients and high-quality colors for the personal care and cosmetics industry, as well as specialty colors for use in household and industrial cleaners, specialist coatings and agriculture product applications.
