Reg Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - North
Hendrick Medical Center
Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technician
Performs all required procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab and operates specialized equipment including; but not limited to; the computer system; hemodynamic monitoring; and have working knowledge of cardiac catheterization lab. Trains staff technologists and students.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education: Allied Health Degree
Minimum Work Experience: Previous Cath Lab experience preferred
Required Licenses/Certifications: BLS (within 30 days of hire); ACLS (within 90 days of hire); NIH Stroke Scale (within 90 days of hire); RCIS; or RCES; or CVT (Cardiovascular Tech); or ARRT w/ 1 year cath lab experience
Required Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities:
- Answer telephones
- Compile and analyze reports
- Coordinate schedules
- Input data into computer programs
- Inventory and order supplies and equipment
- Generate reports
- Thorough knowledge of Cath Lab procedures
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
