Part-time Travel Medical Assistant - Optometry Technician

Description This is a part-time traveling role covering the Tulsa, OK area, with periodic travel to Wichita, KS and Shreveport, LA. Travel expenses are covered, including driving mileage and hotel stays. Job type: Part‑time. Responsibilities Arrive at the clinic before the doctor to set up at the facility. Transport patients to and from the exam area at the facility. Assist the doctor with vision pre‑testing, working with eyeglasses and scribing as needed. Location This position covers a home market within a 3‑hour radius. For locations beyond 2.5 hours, lodging and meals are provided. Mileage reimbursement is included, as well as paid time for driving that exceeds normal commute time. Requirements Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to drive to clinics within a 3‑hour radius. One year of relevant work history, preferably in long‑term/senior care. Ability to escort elderly walking clients or transport clients in wheelchairs, typically weighing up to 200 pounds.
