Clinical Nurse

Role Provides direct patient care in a Med Surg Cardiac unit, focusing on adult medical, surgical, and telemetry patients. Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within established standards. Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication use. Participate in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in professional development. Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families. Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers. Maintain safety-sensitive responsibilities, requiring alertness and safe working conduct. Qualifications Educational requirements include a Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Licensure as an RN is mandatory; no supervisory experience required. Preferred candidates have less than two years of experience and telemetry background.
