As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Puyallup, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to passengers and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, surrounding perimeters, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required activity logs while providing professional communication and assistance to the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
