Advanced Practice Provider - Hematology/Oncology | Our Organization

Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina

Our organization is actively looking for a full-time Physician Assistant to become a part of our esteemed and collaborative Hematology/Oncology team in Upstate South Carolina. This role presents a remarkable chance to deliver high-quality, patient-focused oncology care within a nationally recognized cancer program.

• Accredited by the Commission on Cancer

• Accredited by the American College of Radiology

• Certified by ASCO QOPI®

• Designated as NCORP by the National Cancer Institute (NCI)

• Utilizes a multidisciplinary care model with site-specific tumor boards

• Currently onboarding CAR-T therapy options

• Equipped with advanced technology, including:

• Four linear accelerators and a CyberKnife® system

• A new $65 million state-of-the-art cancer center located in Greer, SC

• A comprehensive network serving a 10-county area with a population of 1.6 million

• A well-established cancer program with over 40 years of community service

• Primary location: Spartanburg, SC, with three outreach clinics in the service area

• A collaborative team consisting of 8 physicians and 9 advanced practice providers

• Strong support staff and an integrated care model

• Utilization of Epic EMR across the organization

• Engagement in multidisciplinary clinics and tumor boards

• Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday

• Rotating on-call duties (both weekdays and weekends)

• Combination of clinic-based care and inpatient support as needed

• Opportunity to work with both hematology and solid tumor oncology patients

• A highly collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on quality and patient outcomes

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

• Experience in oncology is strongly preferred

• 2-3 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider is preferred

• New graduates may be considered, especially those with prior oncology training
