Title: RM - O2C Team Member - EDI
POSITION OVERVIEW
The O2C Team Member - EDI will serve as a core technical and business process resource responsible for supporting Order-to-Cash (O2C) operations within SAP SD. This role focuses heavily on designing, mapping, and implementing EDI interfaces in collaboration with technical and middleware engineering teams to optimize business process integration.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and support Order-to-Cash (O2C) business process integration within SAP SD environments.
- Drive end-to-end EDI interface mapping and configuration across cross-functional middleware and technical teams.
- Translate business requirements into functional specs for complex EDI data interchanges and electronic messaging.
- Partner with middleware teams to troubleshoot, test, and validate data flows across inbound and outbound EDI documents.
- Collaborate with technical architects to support SAP S/4HANA migrations or integration optimizations where applicable.
- Maintain clear documentation for mapping rules, interface specifications, and O2C workflow configurations.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- SAP Sales and Distribution (SAP-SD / Order-to-Cash) + 5-6 years
- Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) & Interface Mapping + 5-6 years (extensive working experience)
- Cross-functional collaboration with middleware & technical teams + 5-6 years
ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS
- SAP S/4HANA O2C experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in complex systems integration projects
CANDIDATE PROFILE
An experienced SAP SD functional analyst with deep hands-on expertise in EDI interfaces and data mapping. The ideal candidate communicates clearly across technical and middleware teams, possesses deep domain expertise in the Order-to-Cash cycle, and operates seamlessly in a fully remote environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the functional Subject Matter Expert for SAP SD Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
- Partner extensively with middleware and technical teams to define mapping logic and integrate EDI interfaces.
- Support end-to-end testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of electronic data exchange workflows.
- Translate complex business requirements into technical interface specifications.
