Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide surgical technologist support within an acute care surgical services department operating across 8 rooms with a daily census of approximately 25 cases
• Assist surgical teams during operative procedures, ensuring proper instrumentation, supplies, and sterile field maintenance
• Participate in on-call rotations as required by the needs of the unit
• Float to sister facilities nearby the contracted location as needed
• Adhere to weekend scheduling requirements per the needs of the unit
• Complete required facility modules prior to start and during orientation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of surgical technologist experience required; 5 or more years strongly preferred
• Valid California state license preferred; pending license accepted at time of submission
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission if applicable
• Must not be a first-time traveler
• Ability to commit to on-call and weekend scheduling as needed
• Must be able to provide 2 professional references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 5 or more years of experience in a surgical services or perioperative setting
• Prior travel contract experience in an acute care environment
• Familiarity with scrub and/or circulating roles across a variety of surgical specialties
