Overview Wilson & Company is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern focused on Transportation Engineering to join our Kansas City office year‑round. The internship is paid and could lead to full‑time employment upon graduation. Responsibilities Perform hands‑on work that applies classroom experience to real‑world projects. Assist project managers and collaborate with partners to deliver clients’ visions for the built environment. Work with the engineering team and clients on transportation projects. Engage in training and tutorials to develop skills in highway, municipal roadway, and drainage engineering. Qualifications Civil engineering student with an interest in Transportation Engineering. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong problem‑solving skills; positive attitude; high work ethic. Ability to work as part of a team under direct supervision of a Project Engineer. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Capacity to balance school, internship, and personal commitments. Ability to commute to/from school and the office; no remote work. Hourly Earnings $19.00 – $22.00 Benefits Comprehensive benefits package: health, life, disability insurance; paid time off; retirement savings plans.
