Job Responsibilities

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' specific requirements and design individualized therapy plans that help them reach their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to nurture patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living abilities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, holistic care
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and caregivers on effective therapy practices to ensure ongoing improvement at home
• Track Progress and Adapt Plans: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment strategies as necessary, making sure patients stay on the path to recovery

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Continuing education or additional certifications are supported and encouraged

Licensures

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
