Registered Nurse (RN) - CVOR

CVOR RN – Surgery/CV Procedures

Schedule: Regular schedule: Monday–Friday with one day off (day off may vary week-to-week). Call required: Post-shift call: 1700–0700 (expect ~1 post-shift call per week). Weekend call: 24-hour weekend call 0700–0700 (at least 1 weekend per month).

Requirements: Minimum 5 years of clinical experience required. Community hospital experience required. Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS (BLS). EMR: Meditech (primary), Epic.

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide nursing care in the CVOR setting, ensuring safety and comfort of patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. Assist in open vascular and endovascular procedures, and hybrid room cases. Perform scrub duties for vascular surgery and cardiac-related procedures. Monitor patients during and after procedures, recognizing and responding to changes in patient status. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote quality patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech/Epic.

Compliance / Notes: Orientation: 20 hours. Time-off restrictions must be included at time of submission. Scrub colors for RN: Royal Blue; OR/L&D scrubs provided. Free parking available.
