Senior Accountant

I am looking for a Senior Accountant to join a PE-backed, high-growth healthcare services organization's corporate accounting team in Nashville, TN.

Key Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close.
• Apply ASC 606 revenue recognition across a recurring-revenue model with multiple service tiers.
• Use SQL to pull data and support revenue calculations and analysis.
• Support lease accounting under ASC 842 and purchase accounting for acquisitions.
• Lead the rollout of AI tools within the finance function and their integration with the ERP.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes, controls, and reporting accuracy.
• Support audit preparation and serve as a technical resource for the accounting team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A background as either a strong full-cycle GL accountant in industry or a high-performing auditor from public accounting.
• ASC 606 revenue recognition experience is strongly preferred.
• SQL or similar data/query tool experience.
• Recurring revenue, ASC 842, or purchase accounting experience is a plus.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong analytical skills, a continuous-improvement mindset, and interest in automation and AI.
