In this role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to customers, drive commercial growth, and help bring innovative protein solutions to market.Why this role mattersLead technical engagement with strategic customersDrive adoption of innovative protein ingredientsInfluence product innovation and go-to-market strategiesPartner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, R&D, and ApplicationsMake a visible impact in a high-growth nutrition categoryWhat you'll bringBachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or related field10+ years of experience in technical sales, applications, product development, or food technologyExpertise in dairy proteins and functional ingredientsKnowledge of Performance & Active Nutrition marketsStrong customer-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to blend technical credibility with commercial acumenAs Technical Sales Specialist, you will translate customer challenges into winning nutrition solutions while accelerating growth across the Performance & Active Nutrition portfolio.Key responsibilities includeProvide technical and application support to customers and sales teamsLead customer discussions on ingredient functionality, formulations, and performanceSupport the launch and commercialization of new protein innovationsDevelop and deliver technical presentations, trainings, and product educationIdentify growth opportunities through value-based sellingShare market insights and customer needs with Marketing, Product Management, and R&DBuild strong relationships with customers and key internal stakeholdersUse Salesforce to manage opportunities and customer projectsYou'll join a global Technical Service & Application team within FrieslandCampina Ingredients' R&D organization, headquartered in Wageningen, Netherlands.
