Hayward designs, manufactures, and markets a full line of residential and commercial pool and spa equipment including pumps, filters, heating, cleaners, salt chlorinators, automation, lighting, safety, flow control and energy solutions at our company owned facilities. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward also has facilities in Tennessee, Arizona, and Rhode Island as well as Canada, Spain, France, Australia, and China. **Responsibilities:** * - Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports (Form 10-Q and 10-K)* Responsible for SEC compliance and maintaining up to date knowledge regarding SEC comment letter trends and new disclosure requirements* Coordinate with internal and external auditors throughout the reporting process* Manage quarterly and annual filing documents within Workiva, including the maintenance of XBRL and filing credentials, and maintenance of supporting documentation and records.* Prepare technical accounting research and write technical accounting memos for new guidance or ad-hoc changes in the business* Assist in various day-to-day accounting and month-end close activities, including review of journal entries and account reconciliations* Coordinate with Treasury, Tax, Legal and other teams regarding SEC disclosures* Key person in working with other departments on any issues that come up* Drive SOX compliance in our corporate accounting and external reporting functions**Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in accounting* 4- 6 years’ experience in accounting or financial reporting* CPA Preferred* SEC Reporting experience (Public Accounting and/or Industry)* Forward thinker with desire and drive to improve processes* Strong written and verbal communication skills
