Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN) Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night Shift: 3x12 Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Job Description Seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment, supporting the clinical needs of adults and geriatrics with a variety of diagnoses and surgical procedures. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to assigned individuals, including administering medications and performing assessments. Monitor patient status and report changes to the appropriate healthcare team members. Educate patients and families on health management and care plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry unit. Current RN license in Alaska, in hand required for Auto Offer. Pending licenses accepted with timely application completion. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Experience with patient ratios of 5-6 preferred.
