Details Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00 Every other weekend coverage required Facility performs 100-200 births per month Care for high-risk antepartum, high-risk delivery, and postpartum patients Utilizes external and internal fetal monitoring (EFM) and IUPC placement Floating to like units within scope as needed, with brief orientation provided Requirements Active OK state or Compact RN license required at time of consideration Current BLS and NRP certifications required in hand ACLS and AWHONN Intermediate certifications preferred 1-2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Teaching hospital experience preferred EPIC charting experience preferred Skilled in IV therapy, blood product administration, and central line maintenance Experience assisting with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and high-risk deliveries Experience managing high-risk OB conditions such as pre-eclampsia, HELLP syndrome, and placenta previa Experience with fetal heart rate monitoring and recognition of abnormal patterns Additional Information Unit does not accept first-time travelers Travel pairs or groups will not be considered Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least one year before returning as a traveler Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted for this position No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation American Traveler Job ID P-746386.
