About this Role – Payroll Supervisor We are looking for a talented Payroll Supervisor who has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating a team to verify and process company payroll in a timely and efficient manner while implementing best practices per established controls. What You’ll Do Extensive knowledge of JDE time entry & employee maintenance Processes all types of payrolls, able to resolve most balancing issues Maintains contact with all personnel to ensure adequate payroll support and training Oversees accurate Union Rates & Benefits are setup in JDE & benefits are timely and accurately reported Works with Accounting Group to assist with Tax & W2 questions and corrections Oversees onboarding & training of new department members, serves as a mentor Design and improve workflows, processes, procedures, and staff development Department Lead managing the payroll team to ensure timely & accurate workflow to meet all deadlines Troubleshoots JDE and works with Quanta Corporate to resolve issues in a timely manner Oversees weekly payroll audits & integrity reports to monitor compliance and identify possible issuesEnsures outgoing correspondence is compliant and accurate Proficient JDE & Hubble Power User, knowledgeable in all payroll support software programs What You’ll Bring Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Extensive knowledge of Union Payroll procedures and practices Ability to anticipate and meet internal customer needs Excellent computer skills Proven communication, organizational and persuasive interpersonal skills Demonstrated multi-tasking and data entry skills Ability to lead and oversee others Ability to maintain confidentiality High School Diploma or Equivalent (Education beyond High School preferred) 10+ years of Union and/or Payroll related experience 3-5 years supervisory responsibilities College Certificate or Degree What You’ll Get 401(k) with company match (Traditional & Roth) Paid Holidays and PTO Medical, Dental, and Vision Flexible Spending Accounts Health Savings Account Voluntary Benefits Accident Insurance Hospital Indemnity Insurance Critical Illness Insurance LifeLock Identity Theft Protection Employee Discounts Short-Term & Long-Term Disability #J-18808-Ljbffr
