About the Position

Job Title: Neuro Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 3 years of Neuro/Stroke experience Experience with Thrombectomies Conscious Sedation experience License: Active VA or Compact License Certifications: BLS ACLS Must-Have: Neuro/Stroke experience Thrombectomy experience Must be able to take call Description: The position requires an experienced procedural nurse with ICU experience. Responsibilities include providing conscious sedation medications, patient monitoring, pre-procedural timeouts, and utilizing critical care nursing skills in a busy interventional radiology department. Call is required, with 10-12 primary/back-up shifts every six weeks, mixing weekdays and weekends. Candidates should have prior experience working with EPIC, specifically the Clientnt module for interventional radiology. The flu vaccine is required during flu season, and exemptions are subject to specific review and compliance. Travelers must verify compliance with necessary licensure and certification requirements. Clinical experience in a similar environment is essential for effective patient care delivery in this role.
