Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district near Burnsville, NC is looking for positive and energetic school speech language pathologists (SLP) for the upcoming school year. Come join this great multidisciplinary team!
- Hours per week: 37.5
- Days per week: 5
- Start Date: 8/6/2026
- End Date: 6/2/2027
- Caseload size: roughly 40-50
- Caseload age: pre-K - 12th grade possible (primarily K-5)
- # of school sites: 3 school sites; Headstart; a private school student who receives speech services
- Requirements/licensure: SLP license for NC; DHHS Pre-K background check
- Responsibilities/duties: provide speech therapy, put notes into ECATS, do required paperwork for IEPs (if related service, present levels, goals, service times; if Speech Impaired is the only category for IEP, being case manager which entails all paperwork, setting up IEP meetings, facilitating IEP meetings)
- Interview Availability: varies day to day
