Logistics Management Specialist
As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST at the GS-0346-13 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Plans and executes joint and combined command post and field training exercises to train USTRANSCOM staff and components in assigned missions, and plan/coordinate USTRANSCOM support for external exercise requirements.
- Ensures training requirements and exercise objectives are applied to all exercise scenarios, including those that are partnered with other Combatant Commands and external agencies.
- Develops and revises policy and guidance pertaining to the USTRANSCOM Joint Training Program.
- Establishes, maintains, and executes the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) for USTRANSCOM-sponsored exercises and supports JELC activities of linked and supported exercises of external agencies.
- Serves as a Program Manager and Joint Exercise Planner for USTRANSCOM Joint exercise and training mission.
