Round Table Pizza - Room Service Runner - Full Time & Part Time

Job Title

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Collect orders from the kitchen, ensure they have been prepared correctly, promptly and efficiently deliver to the guest's room.
• Manage the kitchen Mobile order kiosk.
• Ensure orders are delivered accurately and in good condition, check for condiments, requests by guests that is noted on the ticket.
• Communicate any issues or delays that arise and resolve problems efficiently.
• Aware of all amenities to ensure they are set-up and delivered on time.
• Consistently deliver courteous and professional service.
• Keep a track of delivery orders, fill out the log.
• Fill the to go area with silverware, souffl cups, to go condiments.
• Daily inventory of paper goods and notify the MOD of items running low.
• Ensure room service area is clean, organized, and all equipment is functioning properly.
• Report any problems to the Restaurant/Room Service Manager.
• Work as backup personnel to pack takeout orders and deliver to the host desk.
• Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of and ability to identify menu products.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Ability to operate a glassware washing machine and to re-fill ice bins and beer bins, utilizing ice machines.
• Knowledge of the dish room, including separating silverware, dishes & glassware appropriately.
• Candidate must be able to communicate in English, both in written and oral form.
• Ability of simple reading, math, writing and task completion skills is required.
• Must have the following skills: compiling, coordination, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.
• Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly standing, walking and frequently reaching overhead, bending over, kneeling, and balancing during the duration of their shift. Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull up to 50lbs frequently. The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both hands and occasional light and firm/strong grasping motions. Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work Environment:

Work performed indoors, alone and frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others on extended shifts around computer equipment and other mechanical devices. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Team Member may be exposed to slippery surfaces, fumes/odor and secondhand smoke.
