1st Class Pipefitter

Location: Houma, LA
Shift: Day Shift | Full-Time
Environment: Shipyard

Summary

Seeking an experienced 1st Class Pipefitter for full-time work in a shipyard environment. Must be skilled in fitting, installing, and repairing marine piping systems.

Must Haves
  • 3+ years of pipefitting experience
  • Shipyard or marine experience
  • Ability to read blueprints and pipe drawings
  • Experience measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling pipe
  • Ability to work safely in an industrial environment
Preferred
  • 1st Class shipyard pipefitting experience
  • Carbon steel, stainless steel, and/or copper nickel experience
  • Rigging and fabrication experience
Qualifying Questions
  1. How many years of pipefitting experience do you have?
  2. Do you have shipyard or marine pipefitting experience?
  3. Can you read blueprints and pipe drawings?
  4. What types of piping materials have you worked with?
  5. Are you available to work full-time day shift in Houma, LA?
