Registered Nurse Inpatient Dialysis

Employment Type: Full time Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift (7a-7p). On Call Required. Unit Overview The Inpatient Dialysis unit provides adult hemodialysis care with four dialysis stations and also offers peritoneal dialysis and continuous renal replacement therapy to patients with kidney failure. Responsibilities Deliver adult hemodialysis to individual patients at four dialysis stations. Administer peritoneal dialysis and continuous renal replacement therapy as needed. Monitor patient response, manage equipment, and document care. Collaborate with nephrologists, dialysis registered nurses, and other interdisciplinary team members. Provide nursing education and support to patients and families. Qualifications BSN or ADN from an accredited school/college of nursing. Active BLS certification (American Heart Association). Registered with the Illinois Board of Nursing before hire. Previous hemodialysis experience preferred. Compensation & Benefits BSN pay range: $36.05 – $59.92 per hour. ADN pay range: $32.90 – $57.06 per hour. Competitive shift differentials including charge and preceptor roles.
