Tom’s Watch Bar – World Cup Ambassador The Ultimate Summer of Soccer Job Do you love football? Can you talk about the World Cup for hours? Welcome home. Do you enjoy sports bars, social media, big crowds, and occasionally buying strangers a beer in the name of “marketing”? We are hiring one Tom’s World Cup Ambassador in each of our 18 U.S. locations ahead of the World Cup. Your mission: Become the face of football at your local Tom’s Watch Bar. Part ambassador, part content creator, part hype machine, part football encyclopedia, and part professional socializer. Non-negotiables: Must be able to start ASAP (Tuesday, May 26) Must be 21 or older Must be ok with an 8-week contract Must share your social media handles as part of your application What You’ll Actually Do Promote Tom’s World Cup viewing experiences and reserved seating opportunities on your social media Create nonstop World Cup content across every platform imaginable (allowing you to grow your own handles alongside this role) Post crowd shots, reactions, matchday energy, predictions, memes, celebrations, and general football chaos Hang out at Tom’s Watch Bar in the lead-up to the World Cup, and especially during key football events and World Cup matches Talk football with guests and build excitement around the tournament Use a personalized ticketing link and earn commission on ticket sales you drive Create an atmosphere, build a crowd Help turn your local Tom’s into the go‑to World Cup destination in your city Build relationships with local supporter groups, influencers, soccer communities, and fans Make friends and influence people You’re not just watching soccer. You’re turning Tom’s into your city’s World Cup HQ. What We’re Looking For You are active and savvy on all social media platforms You can create fun, engaging content quickly You know your city and local market You genuinely know and love football/soccer You understand the World Cup and global football culture You have energy, personality, and can work a crowd You are outgoing and comfortable talking to strangers, and on camera You are 21+ years old Bonus points if: You support a club irrationally Your mood depends on VAR decisions You already spend too much time in sports bars anyway Is This for Real? Yes, this is a real job Yes, you’ll have a Food & beverage allowance Yes, you should talk football with strangers Yes, you will be the face of football in your town Yes, it’s basically a football summer camp for adults The Details Approx. 8-week engagement surrounding the World Cup One ambassador hired per Tom’s Watch Bar location Flexible scheduling built around World Cup matchdays and events Food & beverage allowance provided during activations Commission opportunities tied to ticket sales Potential for longer‑term opportunities beyond the tournament for the right candidates Simply put – if it’s happening at Tom’s, your city should see it online immediately The Goal This is not just about watching matches.
