Location: Atlanta, GA - Onsite
Years of Experience Required: 12 15 years
Mandatory Skills
Significant hands-on experience in Technical Project Management with a working background in the Java stack. Must have strong command of Jira and be able to use AI tools effectively. Must be able to create reports and own deliverables end to end.
Job Description
- Serve as overall Technical Project Manager for a portal modernization initiative.
- Work closely with technology and business stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Understand Agile practices and ensure Jira boards are managed effectively by working closely with stakeholders.
- Drive milestone planning and ensure technical estimations and sub-task creation are completed.
- Create and maintain a prioritized backlog.
- Understand technical architecture and terminology, and ensure adequate review of deliverables.
- Help build the team's knowledge of the platform.
- Provide oversight on delivery to ensure industry best practices, standards, automation, quality, timeliness, operational readiness, continuous improvement, and cost-effective solutions.
- Provide effective technical leadership and guidance to lead engineers and the technical team within a domain.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to integrate portal strategies with business, product, and technology roadmaps.
- Implement tools and systems necessary for the development and continuous improvement of the portal platform.
- Provide status reporting to stakeholders.
