Physical Therapist Assistant - Full-Time

Role Overview: The Physical Therapist Assistant performs treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education to enhance patient well-being, following a plan of care under supervision. Key Responsibilities Adhere to state laws and only perform procedures within training and qualifications, reporting treatment responses and patient condition changes. Instruct and assist patients with active/passive exercises, gait, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training. Coordinate care with healthcare team members and communicate patient progress. Educate patients, families, and caregivers within the scope of practice. Provide care regardless of patient demographics or environment. Qualifications & Skills Current licensure, registration, or certification to practice physical therapy in the state. Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, or access to transportation. Availability for weekend rotation. Preferred: CPR certification and physical ability to assist with mobility tasks.
