A resident is moving in this afternoon. Another submitted a work order before heading to class. A parent is arriving for a weekend visit. The grounds need attention, a make-ready is almost complete, and a maintenance request just came through. In student housing, things move quickly. You'll spend your day troubleshooting repairs, preparing apartments, maintaining the property, and helping ensure residents can focus on school—not maintenance issues.   Who This Role Is For This role is for someone who:

We're looking for someone who understands that every completed work order builds trust with a resident.   What You'll Be Responsible For

• Completing service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, and general maintenance issues
• Preparing apartments for new residents through high-quality make-ready work
• Performing preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Assisting with maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the community
• Communicating with residents regarding maintenance requests and completed repairs
• Maintaining accurate work order documentation
• Following company safety standards and maintenance procedures
• Participating in the on-call rotation as scheduled
• Working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and community team to deliver exceptional service

What We're Looking For

• Previous apartment maintenance or general maintenance experience preferred
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, or carpentry
• EPA Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
