Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >70 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - SSM Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Previous Charge Experience. - Teaching Hospital Experience. - Community Hospital Experience. - LTAC Experience.

Unit Details: - Coverage includes ICU, medical floors, Special Care Nursery, and Emergency Department. - Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. - Cares for patients with COPD, respiratory failure, CHF, post-open-heart surgery, and asthma.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every 3rd weekend required. - No call. - Travelers may be required to participate in holiday and weekend rotation.

Special Requests: - Please request RTO up front if possible.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

Certifications:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT (National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC))
