IT HCM Technical Developer Lead (Workday) – Contract

A global biopharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced Workday HCM Technical Developer Lead to support enterprise Workday integrations and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and support of complex Workday integrations
• Provide technical leadership across Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, PICOF, CCB, Extend, Orchestrate, APIs, and web services
• Remain hands-on while mentoring developers and providing technical oversight
• Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues and support production environments
• Help drive Workday automation and AI-enabled capabilities

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of HCM technical experience
• 8+ years of Workday integrations experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, PICOF, CCB, REST/SOAP APIs
• Experience leading Workday technical teams or enterprise implementations
• Strong Workday architecture, security, and business process knowledge
• Experience with Workday Extend and Orchestrate

Preferred

• Workday Pro certifications
• Workday AI / Illuminate experience
• Generative AI, Copilot, or automation experience

This is a hands-on technical role. xhyhwjd Functional-only Workday or HRIS management experience will not be sufficient.
