VC Investment Associate - Global Investment Firm (Chicago)

A leading global investment firm is looking to hire an Investment Associate into it's Venture Capital investment platform based in Chicago.

The team takes a stage-agnostic approach across Venture Capital and Growth Equity, investing primarily across FinTech, Capital Markets, Financial Software, Digital Assets and broader TMT.

Operating within a small, flat investment team, the successful candidate will have significant exposure across the full investment lifecycle, including:

Sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities
Fundamental company and industry analysis
Financial modelling and valuation
Preparing investment memos and recommendations
Deal execution and structuring
Portfolio monitoring and value creation

Candidate Profile

2–4 years' experience in a buy-side investment role or investment banking
Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
Experience across FinTech, Financials or TMT
Strong commercial judgement and understanding of business models
Genuine passion for investing and technology
