  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to patients within the assigned caseload, as needed and recommended in treatment plans.

  • Conduct supervision for patients within the assigned caseload, either in person or via telehealth, as clinically recommended.

  • Monitor weekly patient progress and present updates on patient programs and behavior programs during supervision and team meetings.

  • Update and maintain patient treatment programs.

  • Complete reports, progress reports, Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, and assessments in a timely manner, with assistance from the Assistant Director.

Training, Supervision & Collaboration

  • Communicate treatment program changes to caregivers and the ABA team.

  • Serve as a liaison between Behavior Technicians, families, caregivers, and other service providers.

  • Attend patient IEP and placement meetings.

  • Maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with colleagues, caregivers, and other individuals involved in patient care.

Documentation & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Complete six-month authorization reports.

  • Manage scheduled hours to ensure timely completion of all assigned responsibilities, including supervision time and direct work with each assigned patient.

  • Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner, including attending IEP/placement meetings, following organizational policies and procedures regarding prescription fidelity, and updating administrative tracking documents as required by directors.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation using written or electronic systems, including computers, laptops, and mobile devices.

  • Follow federal HIPAA regulations and all applicable organizational policies and procedures.

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, quality patient care, and customer retention, including going beyond minimum expectations to ensure quality service.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Minimum Master's Degree in Psychology or a related field.

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) OR Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) license through the Psychology Board.

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to observe and record patient behavior accurately, documenting exactly what is observed in an objective and concrete manner.

  • Ability to understand information and ideas presented verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to identify when something is wrong or likely to go wrong and take appropriate steps to intervene for patient safety.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and maintain constructive, cooperative working relationships.

  • Ability to provide personal assistance, including physical guidance when patients are unable to conduct themselves safely.

  • Ability to tolerate challenging or maladaptive behaviors, including aggressive, self-injurious, and difficult-to-manage behaviors.

  • Ability to enter, transcribe, record, store, and maintain information in written or electronic formats using a computer, laptop, or mobile device.

  • Understanding of the importance of customer satisfaction and willingness to go beyond minimum expectations to support quality care and customer retention.

Transportation Requirements

  • Reliable transportation and willingness and ability to travel between different job sites.

  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance in good standing.

  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle.

Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • Ability to work in patients' homes, ABA therapy centers, community settings, and outdoor environments as required by treatment programs.

  • Ability to lift and carry patients as needed.

  • Ability to assume and maintain various physical positions, including kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, and standing for extended periods.

  • Ability to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods.

  • Willingness and ability to restrain, hold, or transport patients and perform quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan when working with children who exhibit challenging behaviors.

  • Manual dexterity to operate computers and electronic devices used for data collection.

  • Ability to receive supervisory feedback, reflect on strengths and weaknesses, and build upon previously learned competencies.

  • Visual acuity sufficient to read and understand written communications on computers, electronic devices, and paper.
