Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for the communities we serve through exceptional healthcare. We operate a network of hospitals in Bowling Green, Albany, Caverna (Horse Cave), Franklin, Russellville, and Scottsville, along with the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital, which provides long-term acute care. Together, our facilities offer 454 acute care beds and 110 extended care beds, supported by over 400 physicians across more than 50 specialties.

We prioritize medical education as a vital aspect of our mission. In collaboration with The University of Kentucky (UK) College of Medicine, we provide several Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accredited training programs aimed at developing proficient physicians dedicated to patient-centered, evidence-based, and cost-effective care. The Medical Center at Bowling Green serves as the primary clinical teaching site for over 70 graduate medical education trainees enrolled in seven ACGME-accredited training programs, along with an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry community track program. Additionally, the UK College of Medicine has established a four-year regional campus in Bowling Green in partnership with our organization and Western Kentucky University.

Bowling Green, the third-largest city in Kentucky, is conveniently located just 60 miles north of Nashville, Tennessee, and 110 miles south of Louisville. According to the 2020 U.S. Census Bureau, Bowling Green has a population of 72,294, while Warren County boasts a population of 134,554. The city has been recognized as one of The South's Best Cities on the Rise in 2022 by readers of Southern Living and was named the Best Place to Live in Kentucky by MONEY Magazine in 2018.
