Maintenance Technician – Electrical Focus

Schedule:

• 4 months: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 4 months: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire

Work Location: In person

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with strong electrical skills to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position follows a rotating 12-hour shift schedule and requires hands-on troubleshooting, equipment repair, and preventative maintenance to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

Responsibilities

Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance

• Perform electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments on production machinery and facility equipment.
• Diagnose issues with motors, control panels, sensors, wiring, and electrical components.
• Conduct mechanical repairs including belts, bearings, gears, and drive systems.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.

Equipment Monitoring & Repair

• Respond to machine breakdowns quickly and effectively.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential failures or safety concerns.
• Calibrate, test, and verify proper operation of electrical systems and controls.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all electrical safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and company safety policies.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and documentation.
• Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety and environmental standards.

Production Support

• Collaborate with machine operators and supervisors to resolve equipment issues.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Assist with basic facility maintenance as needed.

Requirements

• Electrical experience required (industrial or manufacturing environment preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and manuals.
• Experience with industrial machinery, automation, or production equipment.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights). xhyhwjd
