Position Details:
• Duke Lifepoint is hiring a full-time Gastroenterologist to float between two Duke Lifepoint Hospitals
oFrye Regional Medical Center - Hickory, NC (1 hour from Charlotte, Asheville, & Winston Salem)
oHaywood Regional Medical Center - Clyde, NC (25 minutes from Asheville)
• Spearhead the development of a newly formed travel position
o1 employer - no locums companies
o1 contract - easy to manage
• Schedule: 7 on 7 off block
o7 days at FRMC
o7days off
o7days at HRMC
o7days off
• No requirement to relocate
• Procedural Based
oInpatient Consultation and ED coverage only
oExclusive Block Time in Endo suites or OR
oNO CLINIC requirement
oHospitals are equipped with General GI and ERCP scopes
• Support
oCare Team supported by Advanced Practice Providers to manage clinic visits
oCertified Medical Assistant assigned to the physician for patient care coordination
