Part-Time Scale Attendant / Pos Team Member

We are hiring a part-time scale attendant / pos team member to cover Saturdays and Sundays (8:00 am – 4:00 pm).

Pay: $19–$24/hour (DOE)

This role runs the scale house independently, managing customer transactions and traffic flow in a fast-paced environment. You'll be the face of the operation on weekends—helping customers, answering phones, and keeping everything moving smoothly.

What you'll need:

• Strong customer service experience
• Point-of-sale (POS) or cash handling experience
• Ability to stay organized while multitasking (traffic + phones + transactions)
• Comfortable working independently in an active, industrial environment
• Positive, upbeat attitude with the public

The location:

Based in Mount Vernon, just north of Highway 20, in the beautiful Skagit Valley. This is a working compost facility, so expect vehicle traffic, dust, noise, and a true hands-on environment—not a desk job.
