Overview Operations Specialist II Category: Administration Main location: United States, Missouri, Kansas City Position ID: J0326-2675 Employment Type: Full Time Position Description: Under the direct supervision of Passport Support Manager, will assist with compiling administrative reports and other special tasks as requested by the Passport Support Manager. Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. This position is located in Kansas City, MO. Responsibilities Assist with compiling administrative reports and other special tasks as requested by the Passport Support Manager. Perform a physical inventory of all GFE monthly and track the usage and allocation of items daily. Assist and complete supply orders. Generate and maintain reports on inventory and purchasing of supply orders. Fulfill daily order requests. With guidance and approval from the government management team, prepare procurement actions and documentation for ARIBA requests, GSA purchases, GSA Advantage, and other means. Manage safety of designated supply areas. The Operations Specialist II shall perform all of the duties of the Operations Specialist I. Qualifications HS diploma, and Two (2) years of office experience, and Two (2) years of asset tracking and/or inventory management, Two (2) years of warehouse experience, including Two (2) years of experience utilizing a variety of office software, specifically: Microsoft Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Outlook. Ability to lift and transport up to 1000 lbs. via air jack Ability to manually lift and transport up to 45 lbs Ability to catalog and store items Ability to utilize inventory logging software Ability to troubleshoot to address special challenges Good attention to detail Excellent customer service skills Capable of doing repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, stooping, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, pushing carts, moving objects, twisting, sealing envelopes, unpacking/packing/taping/moving boxes, filing and reading Good data entry skills Good filing and file retrieval skills Ability to work in one place and transverse the office/warehouse/storage areas on a continuing basis Desired qualifications/non-essential skills A basic knowledge of the current TDIS computer system, ability to determine quality and correctness of prepared Passports and maintain issued applications in an orderly and traceable fashion.
