Java Architect

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Java Architect to design, develop, and govern enterprise-scale applications using Java and modern cloud-native technologies. This role involves defining technical architecture, ensuring best practices, driving technology decisions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop enterprise-level application architectures using Java/J2EE technologies. Define technical standards, frameworks, coding guidelines, and architectural best practices. Lead application modernization, microservices adoption, and cloud transformation initiatives. Create high-level and low-level design documents, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks. Ensure application security, reliability, performance, and scalability. Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical governance activities. Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership. Partner with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide architectural guidance. Required Skills: Strong experience in Java and object-oriented programming. Expertise in modern application development frameworks and Java/J2EE technologies. Ability to define technical architecture and drive technology decisions. Experience with microservices adoption and cloud transformation initiatives. Proficiency in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services. Knowledge of application security, reliability, performance, and scalability best practices. Experience with architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical governance. Core Java expertise. Qualifications: 5-6 years of relevant experience. Prophecy Technologies
